In the theater of opera and ballet, preparations for the premiere of the opera Don Juan by Mozart moved to the final stage.

On the big stage was the installation of large-scale scenery. In accordance with the sketches of the art director from St. Petersburg, Yelisei Shepelev, in the workshops of the theater they created columns and statues in the style of classical architecture. The main difficulty in creating such large structures was weight control. As a result, despite the size, each does not exceed sixty kilograms. Some of them will be hung right above the stage.

The premiere of “Don Juan” will close the 81st season of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater on July 9 and 10.
