A large-scale charitable tour is arranged by the Alexander Alexandrov Song and Dance Ensemble. Leading artists will perform in military units, military schools, hospitals, as well as in the cultural institutions of the Ministry of Defense. Alexander’s concerts will be held in support of the construction of the main temple of the Russian Armed Forces in the Patriot park near Moscow.

A soloist of the ensemble, People’s Artist of Russia Vadim Ananiev, opened a series of charity concerts with his performance at the Central Military Clinical Hospital named after P.V. Mandryk. Ahead of the performance in the A.Vishnevsky Central Military Hospital.

Vadim Ananiev is known to Russian and foreign listeners as “Mr. Kalinka”. He was honored with this informal title for a masterful performance of a solo part in the famous Russian composition. For many years, Vadim Ananiev has remained the permanent voice of the songs “Katyusha” and “Kalinka” as part of the choir of the Ensemble.

Among the organizers of the charity tour are the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of Russia and the Department of Culture of the Ministry of Defense, as well as the Foundation for Support of Veterans and Military Medical Service Officers, the Resurrection Charitable Foundation, the National Association of Reserve Officers Megapir.
