An interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s ever-enduring gem “Swan Lake” is being set up by Mikhail Messerer – who is universally eminent for restoring XX century Russian ballet performances. The expressive dance ace is reestablishing the Bolshoi Theater’s acclaimed 1956 generation, that has turned into a show-stopper of the Soviet choreographic school.

Mikhail Messerer on his work, which was euphorically valued by Russian pundits and given most noteworthy stamps in the western media: “I moved toward the recovery with consideration, for I respect the 1956 form of “Swan Lake”; anyway I trust that my support imbued our generation with a cutting edge feel”.
