Artists of the State Academic Honored Dance Ensemble  “Lezginka” will perform at the X International Festival “Russian-Chinese Culture and Art Fair”.

According to the press service of the ensemble, the event will be held from June 17 to June 28 in Blagoveshchensk, as well as in the Chinese city of Heihe.

The festival will open with a performance by the ensemble “Lezginka”, which will perform with a big concert. The program of the event will also include performances of the Moscow State Ensemble “Gzhel”, an orchestra from Yakutia and ensembles “BalAns” and “Plyasunya”.

The culture and traditions of China will be demonstrated by a symphony orchestra from Heilongjiang province, a state ensemble of song and dance from Beijing and an ensemble of harmonica from Hong Kong.

The director general of the Lezginka ensemble, Dzhambulat Magomedov, noted that the group will present eight productions that will reveal the entire history, traditions and customs of Dagestan.
