The performance of the Imperial Russian Ballet  have opened the “Scene of the Ages”, writes “Russian Bulgaria”. The festival of classical art began on Saturday, July 13, in the Bulgarian city of Veliko Tarnovo and will last until October 4.

The festival is considered the largest cultural forum of the country, which takes place in the open air.

Veliko Tarnovo Imperial Russian ballet included in the route of his tour around the world. The tour is dedicated to the quarter-century anniversary of the famous creative team.

Russian artists brought to Bulgaria one of their most famous performances. Guests and residents of the city, all fans of classical ballet are invited to see Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake. According to the famous dancer Gediminas Taranda, who heads the creative team, this is a classic ballet performance, traditional in the best sense of the word. However, the audience will see several surprises. Including several new numbers – Neapolitan and Hungarian dances. And the final dance of the swans is complemented by choreography of Asaf Messerer.

The main role – the role of Odette and Odile – is performed by Lina Sheveleva.
