For 45 years now, one of the symbols of military music throughout the world has been the Red Army Choir & Dance Ensemble of the National Guard of the Russian Federation. This team carefully preserves the best traditions of the times and always keeps up with the dynamic time, protecting the existing and creating new forms of art. The ensemble’s many-sided repertoire includes the best examples of Russian and foreign classics, modern and folk songs, dances of the peoples of Russia, ancient and modern soldier’s songs.
Since its inception, the ensemble has prepared about 40 production programs, has conducted over 8 thousand concerts worldwide, including hot spots. The ensemble team has about 300 people, for 33 years the major leader of the unique team is Major General Viktor Eliseev!
Artists of all generations and genres of music consider it a great honor to perform on the same stage with the Eliseev ensemble, and the schedule of the band’s tour is scheduled for months ahead! On October 2, 2018 the legendary ensemble celebrated its anniversary on the main stage of the country – in the Great Hall of the State Kremlin Palace!

The evening was full of surprises, congratulations, pleasant memories and, of course, favorite songs! Everyone who went on stage spoke enthusiastic epithets about the ensemble. Songs of different eras and countries were sounded: cult Soviet hits were harmoniously combined with hits of modern music.
Of course, the ensemble was involved in every issue of an unforgettable evening.
The festival was opened by the ensemble’s solo composition “Enduring and Legendary”. Further, all viewers, along with Natalya Eliseeva, Anastasia Spiridonova and Valentina Biryukova, were imbued with a unique ballad to the poems of Robert Rozhdestvensky “The Endless End”; the dedication poem was read by Ilya Reznik; Gleb Matveychuk incendiaryly performed a life-affirming song to the verses of Mikhail Tanich “A soldier is walking around the city”, Sergey Volchkov – “A song about anxious youth”, the brilliant Tamara Gverdtsiteli performed the song “My Youth”, Alexander Mikhailov honored the memory of the Great War with the song “Serge with Malaya Bronnoy “, Nikolai Baskov performed” The Smuglyanka “from Leonid Bykov’s beloved film” Only Old Men Are Going to the Battle “.
A huge surprise for many became world hits in different languages, performed by the Ensemble, under the strict guidance of Maestro Eliseev!
