Kuban artists will perform for African leaders at a reception on behalf of the President of Russia in honor of the participants of the Russia-Africa summit, artists will sing “Harness, lads, horses” and “Kalinka-malinka”.
The leaders of African states come to the solemn event, which takes place in the closing part of the summit, with spouses dressed in evening dresses.
The artists of the Kuban Cossack Choir are preparing to perform for the guests of the forum. As one of the artists of the ensemble told RIA News, they will perform the songs “Harness, lads, horses” and “Grass”.
According to the performer of the Krasnodar Philharmonic, the flavor of our country will be presented at the dinner, the teams came from several regions of Russia: the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble named after Igor Moiseyev, groups of Russian folk instruments, as well as northern peoples.
“At the end, we will perform Kalinka, it will be combined with modern dances. We will perform a song, then we will split up, and TODES will dance to Kalinka for African rhythms. Especially for the summit, for guests,” the representative of the Philharmonic told RIA Novosti.
The Russia-Africa Summit and Economic Forum is being held in Sochi on October 23-24. The summit invited the leaders of all 54 states of the continent.
